wow, i am totally jealous. wish i had been there.
highlights of mine, in phoenix they did an acoustic version of "in god's country" which bono introduced by saying "we haven't played this song live in 15 years" and was amazing as it is a song that i associate with the southwest of the united states, so it fit in perfectly with the landscape. what else, "bullet the blue sky" every time i heard it, though the first two times (washington and new york) they did the bit with the charlton heston quote in the beginning (they took that out after september 11th) and that made it so much more powerful than usual. it was pretty amazing to hear "out of control" live, as well as "11 o'clock tick tock", knowing how old those songs are.
