Well it hasn't made me "read-up" on it but it certainly opened my eyes a bit more.
All things considered fair fúcks to Bono - you don't see REM/Metallica etc. out trying to solve third world debt! It annoys me slightly the way the news is so critical towards Bono though.

i think it has made me act out a bit more than i ordinarily would, educating myself and taking more actions on such things.
always been a big supporter of amnesty international, though anyway.

Actually, Bono's activism has made a huge impact on me: how I view the world, how I view my own country and on what it is to trully be a giving person. You would have to read some of his books to understand what I'm refering to. But to me and to many that I have talked to...He has been inspirational! Not that I agree with everything he says or does, but he has definately opened my eyes and I am more aware of our world because of him! I hold him in the highest respect for that!
